Naked in the Kitchen

[caption id="attachment_302" align="aligncenter" width="747" caption="Photo by Ashley Athey; Meredith Mills and Jeff Sone"][/caption] When their son Michael goes off to University, an 'empty nest' forces Beth and Charlie to address what has eroded intimacy and truth in their marriage.   A secret...an agenda, and an unexpected visit from Michael (who has a secret of his own) and his unconventional friend Kevin make the pot come to a boil in this unique family drama which has generous dollops of humour. “totally contemporary, vibrant script filled with expertly written dialogue and wonderfully fresh doses of humor... (a) smart, sexy...play about family, marriage, and love in the midst of change” (Holly Holbrook) “Naked in the Kitchen” started as a one-act play, and was first produced in that form at the London One Act Festival.  It then had a public reading in Nanaimo, BC with Theatre One, in their “Emerging Voices” program for promising playwrights.
